Gamma 1.01 with fixes to some of the more pressing issues. Here's the full change log. Enjoy.
- Don't crash when we receive a LoginSuperceded event on login - Prevent the game from crashing if the basic scan object doesn't exist, if a web request fails - Prevent crash when cap ship launching fighters, but the fighter is already dead - Bad system meta data causing disconnect on jumps - Fix assert when entering Neptune’s ring - Prevent weapon stream objects crashing when fired from dead ships - Fix for faction ranks doubling their expected rank in the status panel - When network startup fails, provide a clean path in final version that present a message box and exits the app cleanly - Append local machine name to port mapping string in upnp so we don't clean up other people's port mappings on a shared router - Upnp now uses an infinite lease by default; it's possible to set a finite lease in appconfig if required - Remove some rare goods from AI load outs - Ensure that the faction data gatherers for system map are only entered if their preconditions are true - Fix trading badge not updating on rank increase - Travel Tutorial now fixed with the Hyperspace binding change - Fix broken environment map in some stations - Send telemetry about interdiction - Cap ship guns should no longer be able to kill other guns (and modules) on the same ship - Fix some things spamming the message log in multiplayer - The occurrences of Cox have been renamed to Pippin - Explorer is now Trail Blazer (Ranks) - Disallow nebulae from location targets for hyperspace
There are some server-side updates too:
- After strong demand from Commanders, The Revolutionary Party of Cosi are delighted to announce that Zorgon Peterson have agreed to supply the shipyard at Arrhenius Hub with their popular Hauler spacecraft. - Fixed issue with the launcher not allowing some Gamma eligible players into the game. - GalNet system news will now correctly show the 5 highest bounties. - Removed the ability to rename a commander from the support system. This is now done entirely in-game. - Fixes for duplicate commander names. - Fixed various starting locations from the commander starter packs. - Allow commanders to explore more procedurally generated star systems. - Many minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

Gamma 1.02 is on its way soon. The servers will be down for at least an hour from 2.30PM GMT, after that we'll reopen space and let you loose again!
The full change log is below:
- Fix kinematic soft lock loading game - Fix for softlock on shutdown regarding fog volumes - Fix possible memory leak in the system map - Add in some missing metadata from populated authored systems far outside the usual generation range - Missing backer system ‘Pepper’ added - Correct the station ID for the station in 17 Draconis - Deeper telemetry to diagnose what/why we're getting stuck entering the game in certain circumstances - When the server has too many stellar forge request, bounce it back so the game can try a different server - Fix for lighting not appearing in the right eye on stereoscopic modes - Handle the case where directional lights are removed while processing the view culling data - Improve MTU discovery handshake - Ensure locations are not sent if they are no longer valid - Improve upnp clean up code - Provide feedback telemetry when system data is received from the server which is either internally inconsistent, or inconsistent with the game's own data - Additional telemetry to help get to the bottom of why some players get stuck entering the game.
Server side change log:
- Saud Kruger’s introductory discount on the newly released Orca has proved incredibly successful. Shipyard dealers report that the heavy discounts have now expired and the ship has returned to its normal pricing across the Galaxy. - Stop advertising illegal commodities in the galaxy map trade routes and in the commodities market screen. - Never advertise illegal commodities for export from a station on the system map and only advertise them for import when there is likely to be a black market available to purchase them - The strange interference affecting Space Station Services and Frameshift Drives in some areas of space has finally subsided. Commanders should experience much less disruption when flying to the following systems: Fomalhaut, LHS 450, Exioce, 17 Draconis, Aditi, BD+22 4939, Canopus, Exphiay, Fehu, LTT 9846, Pepper, Quince. - After an upgrade from Universal Cartographics' licensing sub-division, the AI traders' navigation computers now let them satisfy supply and demand for commodity markets from all stations, not just those that control the starsystem.

Server side change log:
- Temporarily ration keen Explorers to 20 starsystems at a time when selling their scanned data at Universal Cartographics - Fixed a bug that stopped some types of News Articles from being generated - Fixed a bug that stopped some players from creating Commanders

Gamma 1.04 is upon us. The servers will be shut down at 3pm GMT and a new client (version 1.04) will be available about half an hour after that. Here is is the change log:
- Address issues identified via telemetry of items loading indefinitely - Ignore the buyback flag for livery items. Fixes disappearing paint jobs - Fix an assert that happened in HIP 77310 - Additional telemetry for remaining indefinite item loads
And a couple of server side changes:
- Stocked the Basic Discovery Scanner and Size 2 Class H Shield Generator modules in significantly more outfitting shops - Many performance and reliability improvements

Gamma 1.05 is now live. The change log is as follows:
I for one was frustrated about not being allowed to buy the next ship even though I had cash and ship which was more than enough (hence I sold all my ships now to raise the capital for the Cobra). i also like fact more internal outfitting parts are now to be available.
